Instructions for using the Cybercraft GOB2 and UNGOB2 utilities
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The GOB2 program is used to create a GOB2 file from several different files.
The created GOB2 file is compatible with the GOB2 files used by LucasArts
Jedi Knight. The GOB2 file supports subdirectories and long filenames (up to
128 characters, including the path). The files added are those in the current
directory, and those in directories below this. A new directory, GOB, is
created below the current position, and the GOB2 file is created in this new
directory. The program takes one command line argument: the name of the new
 GOB2 file to be created.

The UNGOB2 program is used to extract files (with paths) from a GOB2 file.
The extracted files are placed in the current directory. If subdirectories
are stored within the GOB2 file, these are created as well. The program takes
one command line argument: the name of the GOB2 file to ungob.

NOTE: 1) Cybercraft is not responsible for any damage caused by this program.
It has been tested with the GOB2's supplied with the demo of Jedi
Knight, but there is no guarantee that the GOB2's created with
Cybercraft GOB2 will be compatible with JK.

       2) GOB2 and UNGOB2 is not compatible with the GOB revision 1 format used
          by LucasArts Dark Forces.

The programs are released as freeware. You'll neither have to pay, nor
 register, to use them.
